Honestly, I have no idea how this book came to my attention - I am a Christian and I love the 1950s, so this was a perfect match! And honestly, it was one of the cutest books I've ever read/listened to. The narrator was born to read this book! She fit so perfectly. As for the story - adorable characters, good morals and an overall light read for when you don't want to deal with the hard stuff. I loved the corny jokes too. I'm so thankful that I found this audiobook!
