awesome story but the narrator changed her style of performance. the characters seem overdone even though one gets used to it in the end. still worse than the performance in the first two books..

The story was OK. The Lockwood series isn't as interesting as the Bartimaeus series, but I still quite liked the characters.
What made the whole story a blast to listen to was Emily Bevan's narration. I absolutely adored her accent and the way she told the story. I was smiling the whole time while listening.

I love love love the Lockwood & co books! This felt like a trip to my childhood since I started reading the books at twelve. Stroud is an absolute genius, I could probably read the books another couple times without ever getting bored!

Auf welchen Platz würden Sie Lockwood & Co: The Hollow Boy auf Ihrer Hörbuch-Bestenliste setzen?

Die ersten drei Folgen sind spannend und überraschend. Sie machen Lust auf mehr.
Sehr schade dagegen ist der Sprecherwechsel bei jeder Folge. Die Originalität von Lucy Carlyle nimmt mit jedem Teil ab. Der letzte Teil ist zwar gut und ansprechend gelesen, aber man gewöhnt sich doch an die Stimme der Hauptfigur und muss sich dann zweimal umstellen.
