This is a great take on the VRPG idea. The MC is a commander class, which basically means he can command an army of NPCs and controls their equipment and base. This adds a RTS element to the story and the battles. The world is interesting, and both the PCs and NPCs have a nice variety.
The narrator does a great job. giving each character it's own personality. Getting the complete series for one credit is a steal.
