Well-written and touching. First, it’s cute and uplifting but gradually develops into a heart-wrenching story about life and treatment choices as a potentially fatal patient.

I came looking for a heart-warming love story which at first, I got. However I wasn’t expecting (or really wanted) all the existential crisis parts of the book.
That might be my fault for not researching properly what I was in for and I still enjoyed the story. It just wasn’t all warm and nice.

As another reader said, I was expecting an entertaining love story, which it initially absolutely was. The story then began to reveal all the layers that make this story so unbelievably unique. It is touching, it is thought-provoking and inspirational, as we are forced to reflect on our own lives, on our own mindsets. Recommened for a time when you have a bit of headspace. And yet, I didn't have the headspace for such a story but it seemed to be exactly what I needed to hear.

What an emotional journey this audiobook has been!
