19-year-old Phoebe and her courier father Al have recently moved to Devon, to a small cottage with a river at the end of the garden.

I love everything Hazel writes. She creates worlds I want to live in, with people I would be friends (and enemies) with. The Tiptree's raspberry jam on artisan sourdough toast of a comfort read.

Ein ganz zauberhaftes Buch. Ich musste zugegebenermaßen erst an die Stimme der Erzählerin gewöhnen (ich hätte auch hier Nicolette McKenzie bevorzugt, wie bei den Pinguin-Büchern), aber sie hat ebenfalls einen super Job gemacht.
Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Buch.
