Als großer Ken Follett Fan hat mir die Geschichte gefallen. Man konnte gut den Konflikt der damaligen Zeit nachvollziehen und die Figuren sind gut ausgearbeitet. Sprecherin war mir etwas zu schnell, ich kann das Hörbuch trotzdem empfehlen

The story is rather superficial and lacks the usual detail of Ken Follet novels. The heroine is rather naiv, entitled and stupid and therefore not really likable. Furthermore, the narrator reads the book like a fairytale, in a very over exaggerated voice. I do not recommend this book.

Über Minuten den Gedankengängen der weiblichen Hauptperson folgen zu müssen war eine Zumutung und mir bei Ken Follett unbekannt. Zum Glück habe ich dieses Hörbuch erst nach vielen anderen von ihm gehört sonst hätte ich ihm keine weitere Chance gegeben
