Über diesen Titel

A renowned sexologist shows us we’re not alone when it comes to problems of sex and love.

Ann-Marlene Henning has improved the sex lives of thousands through her TV show and advice blog. Now, listeners can experience her sought-after talk therapy in Let’s Talk About Sex, which illuminates common bedroom plights with real client stories. Meeting with couples of diverse identities and sexual orientations, Henning offers a rare window into the therapist’s mind. She shares her first impressions, explains her thinking as she decides what to ask now (and what to save for later), and solves problems that range from disagreements over fetishes to a lackluster sex life.

The result is a timely portrait of modern sex, one that raises as many questions as it offers real, tangible solutions.

The book itself is quite ok, even if I expected more from it. But what really bothered me was the narrator! She reads in such a monotone voice that I sometimes wondered if it was a computer voice! Moreover, it seems quite ridiculous and exaggerated when the narrator tries to speak a male voice. Last but not least, as a German native speaker, I have to say that the good lady didn't even try to pronounce the few German sentences in the book halfway correctly - a little more research or practice wouldn't have done any harm here.
For me, this is simply an unprofessional speaker who spoils the pleasure of listening.

Book is okay, but the narrator ruins it all...
