The first semester is over. It's time to return to Silver Sanctuary!

After killing an Obsidian Hulker in the Tower, Sal has been named the top-ranked Savior in his year at Quest Academy. He's been granted a special invitation from the President of the Hunter Bureau to attend an exclusive Gala during the break. It's an opportunity for Sal to meet the greatest Heroes and a number of people he's only ever heard of.

At home, Sal needs to convince his parents that he is ready to start his own Trainee Guild. They've reworked the Argento Auction House to give Sal his own specialist workshop, but insist that he needs to relax and enjoy the break. That becomes impossible when Sal learns that his parents are being cheated by one of the top Guilds.

Determined to stop his family from being pushed around by the Guilds when he goes back to Quest Academy, Sal embarks on his greatest crafting challenge yet. Unlikely alliances will need to be forged. Secrets will be revealed, and unexpected mentors will need convincing to join his cause.

Sal isn't going to be getting much rest...

but the crafting gets tedious.

Overall, the break arc with exception of the auction was pretty mid.

But I am with the rating from Nerdic. it was quite goooood, but a bit less Fabi and Sal and more of the others would have been nice.

I still give it 5 Stars, because its just that good.

Really good narrator, well done.

I am looking forward to the next book, which comes hopefully sooooooooon.

I love Sal's relationship with his parents. Glad we got more of that. The pacing lagged a little in the middle, but still a great book. The narration is brilliant. I can't wait for the next one!

I'm in love with the book series overall. It's so nice to listen to a book that somehow is about a nice guy from a nice family with nice people around him and so many good things happeing to him in such a cruel world.

But this time I find it difficult to get through. I have another 8hours left and am fighting not to stop. The prolonged time in the workshop without bis friends is exhausting. It's interesting what Sal finds out about the parents but it's not really helping the story, yet.

But I keep the hope up for Sal and his friends.
