The first semester is over. It's time to return to Silver Sanctuary!

After killing an Obsidian Hulker in the Tower, Sal has been named the top-ranked Savior in his year at Quest Academy. He's been granted a special invitation from the President of the Hunter Bureau to attend an exclusive Gala during the break. It's an opportunity for Sal to meet the greatest Heroes and a number of people he's only ever heard of.

At home, Sal needs to convince his parents that he is ready to start his own Trainee Guild. They've reworked the Argento Auction House to give Sal his own specialist workshop, but insist that he needs to relax and enjoy the break. That becomes impossible when Sal learns that his parents are being cheated by one of the top Guilds.

Determined to stop his family from being pushed around by the Guilds when he goes back to Quest Academy, Sal embarks on his greatest crafting challenge yet. Unlikely alliances will need to be forged. Secrets will be revealed, and unexpected mentors will need convincing to join his cause.

Sal isn't going to be getting much rest...

But I am with the rating from Nerdic. it was quite goooood, but a bit less Fabi and Sal and more of the others would have been nice.

I still give it 5 Stars, because its just that good.

Really good narrator, well done.

I am looking forward to the next book, which comes hopefully sooooooooon.

I love Sal's relationship with his parents. Glad we got more of that. The pacing lagged a little in the middle, but still a great book. The narration is brilliant. I can't wait for the next one!

Ich fand es deutlich besser als den 2 und 3 Teil und freue mich auf das was da noch kommt. Das Potenzial für viele weitere Bände ist aufjedenfall da.

It's a worthy continuation of the story, but the story suffers from the protagonists abilities and gear getting too overpowered too fast. Same goes from the shift of an ensemble approach to a focus on just two of the main characters in this book.
The development is important to the overall storyline, but results in some lengths. And while the protagonist is a hard working character, his achievements come to easy.
Progressing all the main characters with their individual strengths as an ensemble would have been much more beneficial to the story.
