This book offers fantastic insights on true leadership, featuring powerful examples. I wish every leader embodied the principles outlined in it. Unfortunately, there are many selfish, narcissistic, and incompetent leaders who greatly outnumber the humble, altruistic leaders described in the book. I often wonder if it’s unrealistic to hope for more people-first leaders. Additionally, I found it surprising that the book focused so much on millennials toward the end; I would have preferred a more multi-generational approach that considers different age groups.

Simon Sinek excells in doing peoper research and connecting the dots like no other I heard or read so far from. This book flies by and I sometimes had streaks of no willingness to put it away.
This book is not a guide on how to lead providing shortcuts to reach certain goals. It is more. Hr wants you to understand the neueoscience and chemical reactions of our body as well as the social conditions, that lead to certain behaviour. The conclusion for your own acting has to come from yourself. Enjoy this masterpiece!
