Über diesen Titel

The dictionary defines grammar as the study of the way the sentences of a language are constructed. Language Guy Mark Frobose introduces his brilliant new Easy Spanish Grammar 1, which does exactly that. It teaches you how sentences are constructed in basic Spanish without going into tedious detail with rigid and mind-numbing rules.

With Easy Spanish Grammar 1, you learn how Spanish sentences are constructed through clear examples spoken by native Spanish speakers and with simple explanations in clear English given by Mark Frobose, the Language Guy. Whether you hate grammar, fear it, or simply want to be able to use it effectively to speak better Spanish, then Language Guy's Easy Spanish Grammar is for you.

Easy Spanish Grammar 1 is unique in that it teaches grammar naturally, like you learned correct grammar in English. You didn't learn English grammar rules when you first learned to speak English, yet you know how to use the language correctly. The same is true of Spanish. And with Easy Spanish Grammar, you'll be amazed at how quickly and easily you'll be applying your newfound knowledge as your spoken Spanish dramatically improves with each and every lesson.

Always understand while you learn with American multilingual expert language teacher Language Guy® Mark Frobose guiding you through Spanish in plain English. A variety of educated native Spanish speakers work with Mark to teach you their language, authentic Spanish, the way it's really spoken. This language course is dissatisfying for several reasons:
1. Almost the entire 5 hours are spent on practicing the two present tenses with a short introduction to the conditional form and the preterit. Chapter 5 is basically a repetition of chapter 4. You can just listen two chapter 4 if you still haven't learned it. Sorry but I would have liked and expected to learn a bit more.
2. When you are asked to give an answer and the female teacher repeats the correct answer, she always says: 'You should have said...' I am not a native speaker of English but to me it sounds like: 'Your answer was wrong, this is the right answer.' This is not pleasant even if you give the right answer.
3. When I buy a course for learning grammar, I don't need a vocabulary blast.
4. The example Mark Frobose chose for teaching the difference between ser (profession/character) and estar (location, temporary) is simply a bad one and neither shows or explains the difference. Soy turista y estoy de vacaciones. Being a tourist is not my profession nor my character nor do I identify myself as a tourist. It is something temporary. Thus it simply does not explain the usage. He could not have found a worse example for this grammar point.
