Übrigens leistet sich die Autorin den Luxus, den Namen eines Paares (v.a. der Frau) zu ändern - manchmal in aufeinanderfolgenden Sätzen. Aber immerhin sind es nzr zwei Varianten ... (ein Fehler, der ihr gelegentlich auch in anderen Büchern unterläuft: kein Wunder, wenn man so viele verschiedene Reihen gleichzeitig schreibt!)
