• The author repeats information unnecessarily and overexplains situations already clear to the reader.
• The first part of the book felt slow and boring.
• The second part was more engaging, with some psychological thriller elements, but it still didn’t impress.
• Overall, the book didn’t stand out, and I wouldn’t recommend it.
• Final rating: 3 stars.

The narration is very good and entertaining, but the book itself didn’t feel as spectacular as the reviews and the title on Amazon promised. The big plot twist was, in some parts, predictable. There were moments that surprised me and that I enjoyed, but there were also many narrative elements I didn’t like. The author repeats things a lot and explains completely unnecessary situations that are already clear from the reader’s perspective.
On Goodreads, it has over 4 stars, which is a success few books achieve. So, I’m not sure if it’s just me or if I’m simply not part of the target audience for this book. Still, I think I’ll give it 3 stars. The first part felt quite slow and boring, and since I had already guessed the big plot twist, I moved on to the second part, which I found a bit more engaging. It leaned more into the psychological thriller elements the book was supposed to have, but even then, it didn’t impress me.
Honestly, it’s not a book I would recommend to anyone.
