Ich war kein Fan von Damon in den anderen ersten zwei Büchern und versuchte zu verstehen wie der Hype um ihn entstand aber es brauchte genau dieses Buch um es zu verstehen. Nice!

I reeeeeally enjoyed this one just like the others. Surprisingly not my favorite of the series. I really enjoyed finally getting deeper into Damon’s character but for me this character here didn’t fit at all to the one in corrupt. “Don’t let me go” really broke me. That was written so well. I’m happy he turned this way and enjoyed them even more in Nightfall.

After having listened to all four main books I have to say this one is the best by far and Damon and Winter's story is the most interesting. It's fucked up in all the right(?) ways and I enjoyed every second of it. Damon character development throughout the entire series is the most interesting and he shifts from scary to absolutely adorable.
As to Winter: Experiencing the world through her scope made all of it so much more interesting. The way she recognizes Damon because of his necklace at the beginning is just *chef's kiss*. This scene will stay in my smutty memory forever.
Also please note this book is definitely not appropriate for under 18. Major trigger warning for self harm topics.

I loooooved Damon’s story. Really nice outline of his character. I couldn’t stop listening to Winters and Damon’s Romance!
