The narration is great, the ending of the story is good too. However I got very annoyed with the spinelessness of the two main characters in the middle part. It's one thing having been a pathological doormat for your ex-fiancee in the past, but why can Emily rally against Ruby occasionally when she's a little snarky or distancing, but not against Denise when she's an absolute controlling d*ck?
Recommend for people who can deal with that and still enjoy.
