Open communication makes friendship and love work - and that is the hard part. Finding the courage to do that.
I am so happy the protagonists found their way to talk and listen.
I also love the explanations and representation in this novel, epilepsy, the Kinsey scale and reading difficulties are just a part of their lives.

Let’s be honest: When downloading these stories, we don’t expect them to be boasting complex characters, a believable story arc, and the ability to keep you on the edge of your seat. We expect them to be juicy and believable enough to indulge in our “fallen in love with our best friend” fantasy for a bit. And this story manages to provide exactly that.
Apart from the audio quality that makes you think it was recorded using a phone’s mic, it’s a fairly innocuous jamboree of adolescent and heartwarming nonsense. Something to listen to while cleaning or doing chores. Would recommend.

I'm so glad I found Saxon James because of the CU hockey books. I enjoyed just friends and fake friends and can't wait for more of this series.
So of course I had to buy the audio book too and I loved listening to Roo and Tanner s story just as much as I loved reading it.
