Jane Eyre follows the emotions and experiences of eponymous Jane Eyre, her growth to adulthood, and her love for Mr. Rochester, the byronic master of Thornfield Hall. The novel contains elements of social criticism, with a strong sense of morality at its core, but is nonetheless a novel many consider ahead of its time given the individualistic character of Jane and the novel's exploration of sexuality, religion, and proto-feminism.

I think the narrator and her voice fit Jane Eyre's the best a human can.. I could honestly not imagine a better sounding voice for this character

Ohne diese tolle Sprecherin hätte ich diesen langen Roman wohl nicht durchgehalten. Mein Glück: es hat sich gelohnt!

The reader lacks foreign language skills. My mother tongue is German but I did not manage to understand a single word of the German quotes. Her French is just as bad. Also why the male characters were read as if the were in constant fury is beyond me.
