At times slow and one-dimensional in stretches, the entire saga gains more and more depth, combining fantasy with modern politics, and uniting the old front with the new. Good modern fantasy from the viewpoint of asian-inspired setting. A worthy listen.

Slow start with a deserving ending. I personally didnt connect with the speaker and it was often a chore to get into a listening flow. Would read again, not listen though
