Nach der kurzen Buchbeschreibung hatte ich nicht viel erwartet. Aber ich wurde positiv überrascht. Die Story war unterhaltsam und gar nicht mal so schlecht. Hier und da sehr humorvoll und sehr gut geschrieben.
Die weibliche Sprecherin war okay, mit dem männlichen Part hatte ich so meine Probleme. Großer, durchtrainierter Seal und dann ein Stimmchen, welches kaum noch männlich klingt. Wenn auch flüssig gelesen, für mich fehlbesetzt.

This was a beautiful story of love growing over time, trust building in a natural way and healing from emotional wounds. I loved the characters, flow and natural progression. The buildup of te relationship wasn't rushed or drawn out too long for the sake of the story but felt just right. The characters were real and believable, and action, lighter and deep moments were perfectly balanced. The steamy scenes were hot and I enjoyed that they went off a little from the usual ingredients, giving the spice a, to me, new twist. The narrators did well in bringing the story to life. I really enjoyed it.

Die Sprecher waren gut, wie erwartet, aber die Story war furchtbar langweilig. Beide Charaktere leiden unter maßlos übertriebenen Komplexen, empfinden sich selbst als vollkommen unzulänglich an und dürften als Single nicht wirklich überlebensfähig sein. Der zweite Band der Reihe lässt nach den ersten 3 Stunden deutlich Besseres erhoffen....
