The debut novel from author Will Manwill explores the complex relationships and family dynamics of a conservative, Mexican-American family struggling to accept their son, who is still trying to put the pieces of his own life back together.

Das Trauma durch die Ablehnung der Eltern nach dem Coming Out der Hauptperson spielt zwar eine eindeutige Rolle, könnte allerdings meiner Meinung nach tiefgehender erzählt werden.
Ingesamt ist es eine eher seichte Geschichte, mit der man allerdings gerne ein verregnetes Wochenende zubringen kann.
