Enid is many things: lesbian, serial dater, deaf in one ear, space obsessive, true crime fanatic. When she's not listening to grizzly murder podcasts, she's managing her crippling phobia of bald people and trying hard not to think about her mortifying teenage years - which is hard, when she's lost the password to her old YouTube account and the (many) vlogs that her teen self once uploaded. She's worried about herself, her depressive mother, and what the deal is with gender reveal parties. But as Enid fumbles her way through her first serious relationship and navigates a new family life with her estranged half-sisters, she starts to worry that someone is following her. As her paranoia spirals out of control, Enid must contend with her mounting suspicion that something is seriously wrong with her...

Full of charm, humour and heart, Interesting Facts About Space is a pitch-perfect exploration of the strange ways we try to connect with others, and the power of sharing our secret selves with the people we love.©2024 Emily Austin (P)2024 Simon & Schuster Audio Belletristik Frauenliteratur Genre-Fiction Humor Literatur & Belletristik Psychologie Schwarzer Humor

I love natalie Naudus but I do wish that this was narrated by the same person who did Someday everyone in this room would be dead. I think because the characters felt so similar in nature I could imagine enid being voiced by the other narrator perfectly but besides that I enjoyed the story. a simple, fast read_ the main character was loveable and it's always nice to have a queer protagonist. loved the relationship between her and her mother but I wish there was more convo between them about childhood and the mom being depressed. the plotline with her therapist was a bit strange, I didnt understand where it was going and I wish we got more answers about the bald man phobia so a few open questions imo but other wise a nice read. would recommend.

easy listening with a strange and loveable protagonist
