If you liked books from the revelation space universe, you will feel very much at home. It's not his greatest work, but at this point Mr. Reynolds can turn anything into a satisfying story. There isn't any new interesting concepts put out, but this is due to the universe and it's technology being already set. There is some "Magic" going on in the later parts. Technology so advanced that the Author does not dare to describe it. I do smell a sequel that goes into what that "magic" does, which will be very welcome, as I've yet to come by something from AR that I didn't like.

Not his best, but it's a Reynolds allright...

Eine wie immer faszinierende Reynolds Geschichte, welche auch einige eher brutal offen gelassene Enden verknüpft. Empfehle die umfangreiche Vorgeschichte vorher zu lesen / zu hören. Gut gesprochen.
