From the story itself to the one who read it. It captured vivid and raw emotions which were only intensified through the reading performance. It's heartbreaking and left a bittersweet feeling at the end.

A brilliantly written story I think everyone should listen to. I hope stories like these give people seeing suspected abuse to speak up, make the reports, even if it takes annoying police and CPS and reporting multiple times. If they ignore, get other people to make the reports too. So many situations in this book could have been avoided had others done their jobs, or more people spoke up.

This was a hard to stomach read. But I’m glad the victims got justice, and that we strangers can remember them as the kind and multi-faceted people they were.
