A cozy and sexy romantic comedy about a woman starting over in a charming Vermont town and a diner owner contemplating his next move.

Claire Wheeler didn’t want to start her life over in a postcard-perfect town she’d never even visited, but a soul-crushing break-up and the loss of the business she’d built have convinced her it’s time to do something spontaneous. She’s got the keys to a new life in Woodspring, Vermont, but all she wants to do is hibernate until spring.

But a trio of seniors aren’t about to let her. Local quilting legends and certified gossips, the Stitch Witches are determined to help Claire through a series of weekly breakfasts at the local diner with interesting people from Woodspring. Once the women convince her that this has nothing to do with romance, Claire has no choice but to agree.

The only problem, the diner owner, Ellis Hogan, seems to hate her for no reason. And worse? It turns out the broodingly handsome grump lives on the other side of her rental. Ellis isn’t pleased, but he knows it’s only short-term. He’s making plans too: moving to California, helming a new fine dining restaurant, and escaping painful memories of his own.

Before long, their neighborly stalemate snowballs into something neither one expects, with Claire and Ellis trying to ignore the expiration date. Messy pasts and uncertain futures complicate their unexpected romance. The closer they get, the harder it becomes to pretend happily-ever-after isn’t right next door.
