Die Geschichte ist besonders am Anfang sehr spannend und gut erzählt. Ab einem gewissen Punkt jedoch wird der Verlauf der Ereignisse sehr vorhersehbar und auch von den Charakteren habe ich zu Beginn mehr Tiefe erwartet. Am Ende waren es dann doch die typischen Figuren, wie man sie aus vielen anderen Geschichten kennt.

After a few chapters, I couldn't put the book down.
Well thought-out story with quite a twist at the end. The author tackles the topic of wife abuse and really makes one think!
Nicely narrated too.

I couldn't stop listening to this audiobook. I liked the stories of the different characters and was shocked (in a positive way) by the plot twist that I never saw coming. Looking forward to the next book of this author!
