Loved it!
I couldn't stop listening to this audiobook. I liked the stories of the different characters and was shocked (in a positive way) by the plot twist that I never saw coming. Looking forward to the next book of this author!

Almost not bearable...
What a story... I was drawn into it immediately but sometimes almost couldn't bear the reality / cruelty of it. I even felt kinda exhausted after having finished listening to this book, up until the end one really need to know what comes next. Both narrators are amazing!!!

Sehr gut!
Eine traurige, aber trotzdem schöne Geschichte.
Die Sprecher wunderbar.
So spannend, und am Schluss will man nicht, dass die Geschichte aufhört, sehr empfehlenswert!

Thriller with many twists
Narration excellent. Story line starts slowly but then picks up at quite a pace with surprises well concealed. Can recommend.

Spannend aber...
Die Geschichte ist besonders am Anfang sehr spannend und gut erzählt. Ab einem gewissen Punkt jedoch wird der Verlauf der Ereignisse sehr vorhersehbar und auch von den Charakteren habe ich zu Beginn mehr Tiefe erwartet. Am Ende waren es dann doch die typischen Figuren, wie man sie aus vielen anderen Geschichten kennt.

Best book I've read in years!
After a few chapters, I couldn't put the book down.
Well thought-out story with quite a twist at the end. The author tackles the topic of wife abuse and really makes one think!
Nicely narrated too.

Spannend bis zum Ende
Fesselnde, mysteriöse Geschichte mit unerwartetem Ausgang. Gut gelesen und leicht zu verstehen. Gerne mehr davon.
Ich hoffe, solche Bücher auch in Französisch zu finden.
