Was okay
I liked the story and the many different characters. But I did wish for more scenes between S and C toward the end. To make it a bit more cute romantic. Maybe a sequel could have more of it if their lives after school now.

Coming of age
I enjoyed the divers representation of queer love stories. I didn't like the main character that much and was more interested in the (love) stories of the other characters, who were really great. I wish it had been a split POV between Chloe, Smith and Rory.

weird, cute coming of age story
this was not my favourite book by Casey McQuiston, though I did still enjoy it. I might just be too old to get it, but I didn't like the obsessiveness the main characters showed. Apart from that lovely story about finding yourself and the end of school.

Not what I expected
After hearing about this book on booktok & seeing the hype I thought I check it out.
I liked the premise of the book: girl disappears and potential love interests try to figure out what happened. I love a good mystery with a romantic twist and kind of expected this to be “pretty little liars” - but make it more queer.
The beginning had me hooked, but unfortunately I just couldn’t quite get into the story. It’s a cute story with some loveable characters and divers representation, but it just wasn’t worth the hype for me.
