So much imagery is ridiculous and not scary at all. A shame

It started to get interesting after the 65% mark. At first, it was not scary enough to be horror and not serious enough to be drama.

It's not a book that I'll remember forever or listen to again any time soon, but it did a great job of entertaining me and the ending made me truly feel melancholic. Be aware that there is proper body horror in that book though! I recommend if you don't have a problem with that. :)
