A very good and entertaining study of the Victorian Age. We follow the author and her witnesses from dusk till dawn of a (or many) average Victorian day and through the whole era. Anecdotes and sources mixed together in a most entertaining way make this audiobook an easy and fun to follow study with many astonishing examples.
It's suited for people who know nothing about the era and for those who have studied it already at the same time.

The speaker has a very pleasant and warm voice and speaks neither to slow nor too fast to follow. She reads the quotes and narration different but without putting too much effort kneel changing her voice which I found very pleasant to listen to.

I can highly recommend the audiobook to everybody who is interested in the everyday life of a different era.
