I really love Stephen Kings work. I have never been disappointed about any of his books and I am not really disappointed by this one. But I think it's probably his worst book yet. Way too much politics and the story was just a little bit too foreseeable. A little bit of a bummer after the last books..

A very average book

Audible sent me an E-Mail in the middle of the year, saying this Audiobook is gonna released soon and if i want to pre-order it. I was foolish not looking a sencond time at the product because i ordered not in my mother tongue, but in english. When the time came i finished my other audiobooks i recognized 2 things:

1. It is in english
2. it is too late to give it back

So I said to myself, "Let's try the English version" and I'm so glad I did. What a good narrator. Although English is not my native language, I was able to follow the story and accompany Holly on her latest "adventure." I am happy to give all 5 stars to the narrator, the story and the product overall.

Good distracting entertainment but by the end it's just meh. It's always impressive how King has mastered his own style. He does what he does now- entertaining but no nutritional value. L Just scary and weird enough but not terrifying or edge of seat stuff. Steven King is a legend and his tempo and formula keep working, but I don't need to read another.
