Lindsay: I'm not asking for much. Someone who can go toe-to-toe with me and can handle a woman as stubborn as a . . . donkey shifter. So far? No luck.
When REDS suggests a blind date, it's a no brainer. No names, no backstory, just chemistry. And Josh? He's all chemistry. Broad shoulders, a calm confidence, and a smile that makes my stomach flutter.
Right when I think it's going well—poof. He gets a call, drops some story about a ranch emergency, and leaves. And when the ranch turns out to be real, I start to wonder . . . what if this hardheaded cowboy is the match I've been looking for all along?
Josh: REDS promises something different, and I figure I'll give it one last shot. Lindsay is smart, curvy, and stubborn as hell. So of course everything at the ranch has to go to hell. With no other choice, I bolt, sure that's the end of it.
Until she shows up at my ranch the next day like a woman on a mission, and I'll be honest, I've never been more turned on in my life. So I hand her gloves and put her to work.
Now I've got to convince the woman who chased me across state lines that the real test isn't whether she can keep up. It's whether she’s willing to stay.
Contains mature themes.
