This very sweet story takes time around Christmas and is very well written by the author LL Diamond.
I like Darcy in this story so much. After finally accepting that he is in love with Elizabeth he begins courting her in the way she deserves it. I like his flirting with her and that she is finally able to discover his amiable and lovable side. With this discovery she falls more and more in love with Darcy.
I like Darcy's family in this book very very much, too. One of the wittiest family members is definitely the Colonel. He teases Darcy and Bingley all the time and some of his remarks, especially to Bingley, made me laugh out loud several times. I also like his relationship to Darcy and Georgina.
Georgina is a dear in this story. I like her close relationship with Elizabeth and that she defends Elizabeth against other people. This is one of my favourite scenes in this book.
All in all I like Darcy's relations very much because they support his choice of bride. They want him to be happy and they don't care about Elizabeth's background. And they help when they are able to help.
There are also some villains in the story. They are unexpected and act in a unusual way. That keeps the story exciting and they are very successful in creating obstacles for ODC. I like that, in the end, Darcy and Elizabeth are nevertheless able to deal with them.
Stevie Zimmerman has, as always, done a brilliant job. I like her way of narrating a story and giving every person a different voice. I'm at every point of the story able to recognise the person who is speaking. I love that very much ❤️. She is definitely one of my favourite narrators.
If you like Darcy accepting his love for Elizabeth and courting her and ODC fighting together against villains you should definitely listen to this audiobook
I highly recommend it .
