The way it turns from an unsettlingly surreal futuristic horror to something much more believably awful utilising even lesser marvels. Chilling, truly gripping, perfectly portrayed by Brealey and Tennant.
(Consider Skipping the Epilogue if the Ending satisfies you tho, it might revert that feeling a tad)

The speaker Louise Brealey is brilliant!

The story has a fascinating topic and plot and several really cool twists.
It made me happy to come home to this book every evening and continue listening - loved it heaps!

I´ll look into more of JD Kirk´s works now. :)

Heard this through in a long days car travel. Not often that I get gripped and drawn into a story that way. Perfectly read by both and a story that keeps you 100% alert throughout. loved it!!
