What a book! Seeing Banks unfold like this, seeing things develop the way they did in this book… wow!! On to Kill Switch!

So intense

Overall I enjoy the devil nights series. Dark, some fucked up shit and a good story. Sometimes I’m a bit annoyed when some scenes are so detailed and some are cut short, especially in the end. So therefore “only” 4 stars. I still love the series tho. Intoo the next book!

I decided to give the series another chance sans corrupt. Hideaway is a much better book than its predecessor. Banks was an interesting complex FMC and Kai was the hero perfect match.

It’s a shame the same narrators are also used in this book, they fell flat in the first book and in this one to. All the characters sound the same.
