Inspiring book
Read this book, enjoy it and think about it. A wonderful read which shows that for now the danger lies not in almighty machines but in humans overestimating them.

A very important statement,
When it comes to artificial intelligence loud statements about the super powers (marketing) and the apocalypse on the other hand dominate the news. Hannah Fry managed a well balanced view about risks and chances instead and shows a way how algorithms can still serve us humans for the best - knowing that the development cannot be stopped but has to guided in the right direction. This book is one important step for this. It it definitly one of the best readings about this topics and I can also recommend the audiobook here at Audible. Thanks Hannah for sharing your ideas!

Gute Zusammenfassung
Gute Zusammenfassung verschiedener Aspekte, insbesondere der Stärken und Schwächen von Algorithmen und Machine Learning. Sehr viele anschauliche Beispiele. Insgesamt aber wenig Neues.

Mensch und\oder Maschine
Der Schwerpunkt dieses Buches liegt nicht in einem Informatik Kurs wie man Programme schreibt oder einer theoretischen Beschreibung von Software sondern ist eine Beschreibung was Programme können und wo sie eingesetzt werden. Und Programme können so viel das man es kaum glauben kann. Die Autorin diskutiert verschiedene Anwendungen von Justiz über Krebsdiagnosen über selbstfahrende Autos, verbrechensfahndung, Prognosen von Filmerfolg bis zu dieser zutiefst menschlichen Sphäre von Kunst und Musik. Die schildert auch einige Katastrophen und es geht sehr um die ethische Bewertung von Programmen. Sie schreibt klar und argumentiert nachvollziehbar. Was am ehesten ihr Konklusio ist: Man soll sich von Maschinen nicht das Denken abnehmen lassen sondern eher umgekehrt. Mit hat das Buch gut gefallen.

The power of Algorithms and its limitations.
Absolutely fantastic, inspiring, logical and intriguing stroy line. Beautifully presented important implications of Algorithms and its limitations in every aspect of human life.
From algorithms aiding in logical jail sentence to helping cops in finding crime hotspots in city.
from helping surgeons detecting cancer to level 6 driver less cars ,All with its downsides which you might forget to consider..
