When sports journalist Hayworth Buchanan lands the interview of his dreams, he gets the chance to visit famous NFL coach Christian Lasley at his secluded ranch in Wyoming. The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Michael Pauley/Dean is one of the 8 narrators (so far), I can listen without break and have no problems to follow. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

I didn't like Hayworth so much in the first books, but in his story he and Christian are very sweet together and 🌶🌶
Hay's character has also improved a lot here.
I think this book is a perfect ending to the Made Marian series, which I have loved, every single book.
I highly recommend this series.
As for the narration, I have finally gotten used to it and will listen to it for other stories as well.
