These wacky, but true, stories from growing up are about trying to figure out how the adult world works, and about having fun no matter how old you are. In this collection, Bill Harley, one of the most prolific and celebrated storytellers of our time, performs "Grownups Are Strange" (and, yes, kids are too!). Because he has a tough time keeping a straight face, Harley invites a "real" family to help him tell the ghost story "Grandma vs. the Headless Man." And you'll also hear "Happy Birthday Mrs. Nottingham!!!", a tale about Harley's true-life 3rd grade teacher that was inspired by the song "Birthday Waltz". Find out why Billboard Magazine says, "If Calvin of Calvin and Hobbes fame were to grow up, he'd be Bill Harley."(P) and ©1990 Round River Records Hörspiele & Dramatisierungen Unterhaltung & Darstellende Künste

"...Harley's audiences are families, but it's hard to tell who enjoys him more - parents or children. " ( Los Angeles Times)
"... his stories are immediate favorites of all children (ages 3-103)...." ( National Storytelling Journal)
