Inhaltsangabe

What will World War III look like?

Ghost Fleet is a gripping imagining of a war set in the not too distant future.

Navy captains battle through a modern-day Pearl Harbor, fighter pilots duel with stealthy drones, teenage hackers fight in digital playgrounds, Silicon Valley billionaires mobilise for cyber war and a serial killer carries out her own vendetta.

Ultimately, victory will depend on who can best blend the lessons of the past with the weapons of the future.

"A novel that reads like science fiction but bristles with rich detail about how the next World War could be fought." ( Vice)

Interessanter Techno-Thriller

Ein glaubwürdiger Plot, der technologisch größtenteils akkurat und nachvollziehbar ist. Gut geschrieben, bis zum Schluss spannend.

Great narration to a solid book

A lot of podcasts centred around geopolitics, the military and defense had recommended this book. I decided to get it as an audio book, knowing to miss out on the footnotes with additional details and references. It was the better choice, because the narration is splendid. The story is solid as well, although sometimes the details take away from it. And, albeit having several female protagonists, it is obvious that the authors are men. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in the aforementioned topics or will be in a position of power in the coming years.
