This book is one that everybody should listen to. We all have a distorted view of Christs love and heart, Ortlund simply shows what the Bible always taught. And he does it in a way your heart will break at the immeasurable beauty of Christs own heart.

This book opens up the depths of Christ's loving heart and so deepend my devotion and love for him. I don't have words to describe the joy of knowing Christ's heart for me and his church in such a way. If you are a Christian but struggle with discouragement and frequent insecurity about the love of God for you, listen to this! I can wholeheartedly recommend it.

This is my absolute comfort book. I've listened to it and read it many many times. It's been my audiobook while falling asleep for a while know.
It's a beautiful book about the heart of Christ for all Christians. It opens your eyes again and again to how wonderful our God really is. I recommend this to absolutely everybody, doesn't matter if you're a new christian or have been in Christ 50 years.
