Sorry, but the story isn‘t so bad. Its the narrator i can‘t stand. The way she speaks. In respect for the author I listened till the end, but is was a torture.I won’t listen to another one of her readings. I Like J. G, novels. They are entertaining.
But its always the same. A of cause beautiful, heatstrong Lady meets a very big and beautifuly muscular Leard or baron, who decrees that they are to be married. And everything has its Place in their home. So he says. Than they battle over it and they fall like bricks for each other. The bride is my absolute favorite, and is among a few others by other authors , one i listen to regulary. Maybe you can enjoy the narrator. Good luck.
