Fielding saved this "script". Fabulous performance. But the point of the storyline?? Towards the end, felt like Hornby had a word count to reach. Various narratives were inconsistent. Sophie/Barbara way too sweet and good for everyone else. Too little conflict for her. Great dialogues with loads of wit, but not enough to carry an entire novel. If that's what this was...

Mir haben alle Kapitel, die um die Hauptdarstellerin gingen, sehr gefallen. Alle weiteren Personen, die Männer mit denen sie zusammengearbeitet hat, fand ich nicht so spannend.

Würden Sie sich jetzt auch für ein anderes Hörbuch von Nick Hornby interessieren? Warum oder warum nicht?

Als Film wäre es ok. Am liebsten hätt ich die TV-Serie, in der die Hauptdarstellerin mitgespielt hat, gesehen.

Es ist zu lang. Man bringt die Personen durcheinander.
