I really am liking the series, but am having a lot of trouble with the audio book. You can hear the speakers swallow loudly while taking breaths sometimes. That needs to be edited out. Also the voices and accents don’t match. How one character speaking makes another sound doesn’t sound at all like the narrator speaking that persons chapters. The dissonance is huge. I can barely tolerate a few of the speakers. And one randomly is speaking in a British accent while the rest are not. I don’t care which accent it is - I actually prefer British for fantasy, but the mismatch is what irks me. It’s like there was no coordination between the voices at all.

Story pretty good, audiobook sorely lacking
