I really enjoyed the book! I personally think the books 10-12 are the best. The story picks up speed and it’s really nice to see Alex grow over time to become a bigger power himself.

After Forged turned out pretty damn good compared to the previous books, I had super high hopes for this one. And it was good, sort of. Unfortunately, it also read as if a teenage boy power fantasy and a hack'nslay action game had a love child. Alex was always a bit of a Mary Sue but now he is an unstoppable one-man terminator death squad happily butchering his way through light and dark mages alike.
