as always, Brandon Sanderson creates a unique and interesting universe we get to explore alongside the protagonist...a fun, action packed ride for those of us who remain a child at heart.
The world of The Reckoners is suddenly presented in all its glory. It's an incredibly vibrant setting that showcases the entire breadth of Sanderson's talent. Expect to finish this one in single sitting.
The stories are complex, fascinating, and filled to the brim with three-dimensional characters

Hugely enjoyed this second part! More interesting (female) characters and actual character development from David. Less of a one man show too. Looking forward to part tree :) Andrews voice acting was spot on as always!

I recently got into Brandon Sanderson books and none have disappointed me so far. By the end of Steelheart, I thought he's created a magnificent world in which he can keep churning out books with epics having different peculiarities. But, of course, he goes much further with this sequel. A new city and team are introduced, many mysteries of the epics are unraveled, and the Reckoners saga progresses with an incredible payoff at the end. As always, it's a very clever twist that was hard to predict even though the journey was littered with foreshadowing.
