Falling for my girlfriend’s twin brother wasn’t what I had in mind when I hired him to be my son’s nanny.

Working on my family’s cattle ranch, the hours are long, and sometimes unpredictable, so when my regular nanny quits, leaving me in a pinch, I have to think fast.

In walks Ash Tudor.

My opposite in almost every way.

He’s cheerful and bubbly, has horrible taste in music, and does yoga in my yard almost every morning in the tightest shorts I’ve ever seen. Not that I’m looking.

But it’s none of those things that have me scratching my head and second guessing everything I thought I knew about myself. No... it’s the fact that he’s a him and I can’t seem to keep my eyes away, no matter how confusing that may be.

I’m nearly thirty, and never once have I looked at another man the way I catch myself looking at him.

The feelings and urges growing inside of me make no sense, and then when he gets a special delivery to the house of items he plans to use on himself, I can’t stop imagining him doing just that... Or imagining me using them on him.

But confusion and curiosity aside, I can’t fall into bed with my son’s nanny.

Doing so would be reckless and irresponsible.

No matter how tempting it may be.

After loving the Copper Lake series, I had to jump into The Moore Men series — and Finn was a quick, enjoyable, and very spicy read with two likable characters.

But… comparing it to Copper Lake, this book lacked a few things and had some moments that just felt weird.

💗 What I liked:
Both characters were likable, but I loved Ash. His interactions with Tuck and his overall soft-spoken, sensitive personality really stood out. He was sassy, flirty, and just very easy to love.

🔥 What didn’t quite work for me:
The daddy kink was a bit overused. It started off funny and sexy, but having Tuck call his father “daddy” and Ash call Finn “daddy” on the same day felt... awkward — especially since Finn is only a few years older than Ash.

I also missed clear descriptions of the characters’ appearances. We got a few small hints (maybe hair color, height), but it was hard to visualize them. The only thing repeatedly mentioned was Ash’s mismatched eyes — but which colors??

And that final spicy scene? It felt off. Ash was described as gay but not feminine, yet suddenly there was a scene that didn’t fit his established personality. It threw me off and made the ending confusing. But the weirdest thing of all was that Tuck called Ash Mommy!

As for Finn’s sister — she drove me nuts. 😅 Self-absorbed, clueless, and completely oblivious despite being told off multiple times. She didn’t deserve the attention she got from Finn and Ash. Also, why was Finn calling her his girlfriend if he was so adamant they were only casual?

All in all, Finn was okay — definitely not on Copper Lake’s level — but I’ll still keep going with the series because I really do enjoy Ashley James’ books.

🎧 The narration was excellent, though. Both Gregory Salinas and Alex Kydd did an incredible job — you could feel all the emotions deliciously. 😏

Quick enjoyable spicy read
