This is the first one that I’ve read/listened from the series and first Maya Hughes, too (and won't be the last).
This is book #4, I was able to easily follow the story but I feel like it would've been better if I read/listened the first 3 books (which will be on my TBR list) the supporting characters seemed to have their own stories told and I had to keep up bits of their told stories here. I sometimes lost my focus. But that is not the fault of the Author. The book is well-written and have broad developed characters. The forbidden love story of Ford and Liv was not an easy one. They had so many hurdles. A real angsty, full of emotions, steamy romance.
I loved the narration of the Audiobook. The author chose the perfect narrator duo of Christian Fox and Mackenzie Cartwright. They perfectly performed way beyond the expectations of listeners who wants a really good, steamy, angsty romance audiobook. It was an outstanding listening experience.
