This is an award winner because it has an excellent plot! But the way the author writes reminds me of a high schooler trying to convince using words they barely know how to use: enthusiastic superlatives, run-on setences, misuse of "literally", etc. If you can stick through all that, then you will be rewarded with an excellent mystery reminiscent of the masters.
