Ich habe es gelesen und gleichzeitig gehört, da der Roman demnächst in den verbindlichen Kanon für das Zentralabitur Englisch in NRW aufgenommen werden soll. Nach gutem Anfang, der den Horror der einstürzenden Türme sprachlich eindrucksvoll wiedergibt, verlieren sich weite Strecken des Buches in Psychobrei - bEntschuldigung -bei den Hörenden nicht immer sofort nachvollziehbaren Wechseln zwischen den Hauptpersonen. Agieren und Verhalten der Betroffenen ist nicht nur für junge Erwachsene teilweise schwer nachvollziehbar. Ich gratuliere den Verantwortlichen im Kultusministerium, die wieder einmal ihr Geschick eindrucksvoll unter Beweis stellen!
