Fall of Radiance tells to Story of 2 charming characters in a simple world of of low power magic. The series is quick so start and charm you. The dialogue and development of the cast of characters is superb and makes you want to read more and more. Sadly for me this kinda stopped halfway in book 4 where i ended up loosing interest and then finally deciding to dnf halfway into book 5.
The dynamic lost its pace for me and the later plot seemed a little shallow.

Im sure tho that this is not the case for most readers/listeners and i would still recommend this very attractive bundle. Its always worth its price.

Book 3: War Echoes: 4.5
Book 4: Exiles: 2 (still some good plot twists)
Book 5: Prince of Darkness: cant grade it

Great Start into lackluster book 4/5

Not the greatest or most complex but really liked the story and the characters. If you enjoy this sort of fantasy and don't mind a chunk of the story being romance stuff then you might like it. Wasn't sure about it at the beginning but grew to like it. And now that I've finished it I definetly want more.
The narrators are great, which surely helps too. I've listened to many books they narrated. Great books. For example many by Brandon Sanderson.
But this is not what that is! That has to be clear.
Although, hear me out, it has a tiny bit of the magic still without being as complex and grandiose. And on the plus side here you won't find yourself in book three thinking "Oh wow, I didn't realize until just then that x was the person we already met in book one cause I totally forgot the name and that changes everything that has happened I feel fucking stupid now".
So if you like Sanderson and want a lighter read for easy listening while doing stuff you might enjoy it.
