First book out of the series I'd actually recommend or re-listen. The characters felt real, each had their own set of issues and character developement. Not many other characters involved (regarding relationship developement) so there's still a heavy focus on the romantic relationship of the main characters. Which is the point of a romance novel in the first place. I just prefer characters and stories with several different facets and conflicts, so there's more developement, feelings and things to care about.

Love the friends to lovers series and the second chance aspect in this one! The narrators are great as always and it‘s just such a cute story!

Religion often is a tool used to keep people in line - and has not much to do with real faith. I am so glad that in this book the protagonists managed to overcome this horror.
Both men, with the help of their chosen family, were able to grow and learn and establish what is important to them.
The voice actors did a great job - I enjoyed listening to their performance.

The story was to unrealistic for my taste - and the relationship itself seems a bit toxic yet boring at the same time. Love the other books of the series tho.
