an other brilliant story
an other brilliant example that crime fiction properly researched can raise important issues in society!
- this time it's the unregulated use of human dna acquired through voluntary tests, the crises of quality journalism and the threat it imposes and the horrific attitudes of women haters.
while I'd say that some of the main characters actions are clearly fictional (in particular the use of "big data" or the pursuing of a murderer as a journalist instead of law enforcement) the plot and the characters remain credible and entertaining from beginning to the end.

McAvoy und Walling sind die unsympathischten Charaktere im Harry Bosch Universum. Hier leider zudem in eine sehr konstruierte und wenig mitreißende Geschichte verstrickt.

Narrator too loud and too aggressive
Story is OK, but nothing to get too excited about. Yet another serial killer, who would have expected THAT in a Connelly Novel :)
The end is pretty simple and not really credible.
And the narration is really overdone. The constant yelling in some parts is just annoying. A good story doesn't need too much acting.
